With the NWCFL season well underway after thirty-weekend fixtures, the eyes turned themselves to midweek action, and what a feast we have had over the last four nights. (Main photograph by Lee Vaughan)
Monday saw just the one NWCFL Premier Division game as Whitchurch Alport made it two wins in 52 hours to top the table with a 4-1 win over Hanley Town. Alex Hughes bagged a hat-trick on the night leaving manager Luke Goddard delighted.
Some clinical finishing from @alportfc tonight was the difference as they romped to victory over @HanleyTown66 in the @nwcfl Premier Division. The ever improving Yockings Park now has a scoreboard in the one corner ! FT 4-1. #Groundhopping pic.twitter.com/P5YP0mMP2J

There were two NWCFL First Division South games, with both games ending 2-a-piece. Main Road denied Terry Hincks' Abbey Hey the win with a late equaliser. Whilst at Stockport Town, there were also a last minute leveller as they scored in injury time to deny Cheadle Town the win.
Just twenty-four hours later, fourteen games took place over our three leagues. Six fixtures in the NWCFL top flight saw wins for 1874 Northwich, Ashton Athletic, Charnock Richard, Irlam and Burscough. Bootle and Skelmersdale United battled out a 1-1 draw with Carl Peers equalising late on for Joe Doran's side.
Division One North saw Ashton Town run out 3-0 winners over Daisy Hill, whilst Nelson captured a 2-0 win, and AFC Blackpool and Cleator Moor Celtic drew 2-2 at FY4.
Whilst in Division One South, five fixtures took place. Vauxhall were the biggest winners in the division with a 4-0 win against Barnton. Alsager Town, St Martins and Wythenshawe Amateurs were also winners on the night. West Didsbury took an early lead against Wythenshawe Town but Brad Byrne equalised for the travelling side with nine minutes to go - ending with a point each.
Cheers guys..👍👍

Thought you came back into it well in the 2nd half, didnt give up and if you'd got the 3rd goal it would have been an interesting last 20 mins. Some great young players in your team tonight. Good luck 👍👍 https://t.co/1uB0mjvrVE
