NWCFL Premier Division
Ashton Athletic | 3-2 | Squires Gate |
Ashton Athletic joint-manager Dougie Pitts, "I am just made up to get another three points! Squires Gate are on a great run of form and pushed us all the way. We certainly weren't at our best and looked leggy after a fantastic performance in the week.
"We went in 1-1 at half time and gave the lads a right talking to. Although their Keeper made three or four five great saves in the first half, we felt we were nowhere near our best and were very sloppy in possession.
"We came out second half and got the job done which is exactly what it's about as we close out the season. We showed tremendous character to come back from 2-1 down and Marcus's goal to win the game was worthy of winning any game in any league in the world."

Burscough | 1-0 | Congleton Town |
Burscough manager Nick Matthews, "It was a game we thought we could get three points from today, our home form has been decent of late. We bolstered the squad by signing Kevin Pollard from Vic's and Luke Gibson from Barnoldswick; both lads I have worked with before and knew what qualities they would bring onto the pitch and into the dressing room.
"It was a good game for the neutral, Congleton came with a good game plan to put diagonal balls into the spaces behind our back four, but the lads read the game brilliantly. We had to at times absorb a lot of pressure, but we knew we could counter against them.
"Our goal came from a Congleton cross, which we dealt with and countered, it was finished with real quality from James Salkeld. I thought we shaded the game, but can understand the Congleton frustrations at the end. A much-needed win with some tough games coming up."
Litherland REMYCA | 0-2 | Padiham |
Litherland REMYCA manager Phil Stafford, "I thought it was an even game today. They were the better side first half but I thought we dictated large parts of the second half, a breakaway that led to a penalty cost us for the second goal.
"Results have gone against us today so we need a big reaction Tuesday. "
Northwich Victoria | 0-2 | Rylands |
Rylands manager David McNabb, "I thought we played well without really getting fully going on a very heavy and difficult pitch.
"We missed three good chances that would have made the game even more comfortable but overall it was a good, solid performance from the lads.
"Brilliant to get back to back wins and a clean sheet. "

Runcorn Town | 3-0 | Barnoldswick Town |
Runcorn Town manager Paul McManus, "A hard-fought three points and clean sheet today, after a very tough game Wednesday night the boys showed character to keep working hard for each other.
"It wasn’t the prettiest of games today so to come away with a clean sheet and the three points shows to me we are moving in the direction we want.
I felt at times we had another gear to go through and didn’t go through it and put them to the sword so that was frustrating but we can’t complain about four wins on the bounce and five wins from six in January so very pleased to end a good month for the club."
Barnoldswick Town manager Endrit Shehu, "A game that we gifted to Runcorn. A game where we should have won but yet again Runcorn take the 3 points. My players dominated the game in both halves, created numerous clear cut chances, however never scored. Missed a penalty which would have changed the game. It was a frustrating game as a Barlick manager and a Barlick fan to watch. However, I can only take the positives and move to the next game.
"We need to stop gifting games away and finish teams off. The work rate is there, the quality is there just need to put the ball in the net. Looking at the bigger picture things are looking good and I know we will start winning games. It’s just a matter of time."

Skelmersdale United manager Paul McNally, "Today’s game has shown how far we have come as a team, 1874 are a great side and our lads have matched them for most of the game, unfortunately, they showed exactly what was needed to get a win.
"I am proud of my lads and club today in how we have grown more together as a group - obviously am disappointed to lose a two-goal lead and our unbeaten home record but credit to the opposition for a fantastic display and the standard of the game was a credit to the NWCFL."

1874 Northwich manager Wayne Goodison," A fantastic effort by our players. To come back as strongly as they did after being two down to a very strong Skelmersdale side is remarkable.
"Credit to Paul, his team worked hard but we knew as long as we stayed patient and kept doing what has served us well all season, we would create chances. 2nd half some of the attacking intent was outstanding from them, so pleased to take another three points. "
