League Stats and Milestone Update to Sunday 17th March 2024 compiled by League Statistician, Kevin Lawton.  

Overall Stats

  • Nelson’s midweek draw against Darwen was their 1,300th NWCFL game.
  • Droylsden’s win at Cammell Laird was their 200th league game.
  • Ashton Athletics’ 4th goal of their 5-0 win at Daisy Hill was their 1,200th in the NWCFL.
  • Burscough’s final equaliser in the 3-3 draw with Ramsbottom was their 1,500th NWCFL goal.
  • Irlam played their 550th league game in the NWCFL with the defeat at Squires Gate
  • Skelmersdale’s defeat at Padiham saw them concede their 1,750th goal.
  • West Didsbury and Chorlton have now conceded 750 league goals.

Home Stats

  • Chadderton’s midweek draw against Wythenshawe was their 750th home game.
  • Cheadle Town’s opening goal in their win against FC Isle of Man was their 1,200 at home.
  • New Mills first goal in their win against Cheadle Heath Nomads was their 600th at home.
  • Squires Gates opener against Irlam was their 1,050th at home.

 

Away Stats

  • Wythenshawe Town’s win at Prestwich Heys was their 50th on the road.

Goal Heroes

  • Thomas Romano hit three for Ashton Athletic at Daisy Hill
  • Bobby Carter with an excellent four for Padiham against Skelmerdale
