NWCFL Stats Update #6

More cup games, so nothing to report on the league front – once again.
A look at some of the stats so far though:
Premier Division
Sequences: Avro and Bootle on a run of three wins each, whilst Rylands are undefeated in six. Litherland REMYCA have not won in their first six.
Northwich Vics 8-0 win at home to Litherland is best so far, and 1874 Northwich’s 5-0 win at Charnock Richard is the best result by a team on the road.
Division One North
Sequences: Lower Breck have three wins on the bounce, whilst Ashton Town and Shelley are unbeaten in their last five. Steeton are on a five game losing run. Ashton Town haven’t conceded in two games.
The best home result is AFC Liverpool’s 7-1 win against Daisy Hill, whilst away from home, AFC Darwen’s 6-1 win at Holker is the best so far.
Division One South
Sequences: West Didsbury and Chorlton have five wins in a row and are unbeaten in seven. New Mills and St Martins have lost their last six games.
Eccleshall’s 9-0 home win against Ellesmere Rangers is the best home result whilst Wythenshawe Town’s 7-0 win at Cheadle Town is best for an away side.
Opponents from further afield
Looking at the cup games so far, our teams have faced sides from eight different leagues:
Central Midland League: 1
Hellenic League: 2
Midland Football League: 8
Northern Counties East: 21
Northern League: 12
Northern Premier League: 13
Southern Premier League: 1
West Midland Regional League: 5
All under the auspices of the FA Vase and FA Cup – and more still to come, stay tuned.
