1874 Northwich Manager Wayne Goodison, "That said, in the end, I think for our perseverance and endeavour to win the game we just deserved our last-minute winner. Happy for the way our players have gone about today and the last few months. Hope we can stay consistent in our performances in the new year."  1874 Northwich manager Wayne Goodison, "A tight afternoon against a spirited well organised Rylands side who gave us one of our toughest afternoons.

Rylands manager David McNabb, "I thought we matched the team that will go on and win this league for 90 minutes today. Northwich was the slightly better side first half and whilst they had more of the ball in the second I thought we created the better chances.

"The lads worked their socks off and fully deserved a point."

Burscough 2-1 Hanley Town

Burscough manager Nick Matthews, "It was a feisty affair, both sides putting in hard tackles and a bit of handbags at dawn midway through the second half. Hanley took a deserved lead, we started the game poorly, rushed passes, and failed to set the tempo.

"We scored an equaliser late on in fairness which was against the rub of play. George Lomax scored at the second attempt after having his effort cleared off the goal line  We started positive in the second half and got the winner through Jay Salkeld. A great finish from a tight angle. Very happy to come away with the three points and finish 2019 with a Home win."

Congleton Town 3-1 Skelmersdale United

Skelmersdale United manager Paul McNally, "We started the game as the better side but never took our chances when they arrived, Congleton took theirs and went two up leaving us with an uphill task.

"But we responded very well scoring straight away and making them work for a win. Overall on reflection, I think we deserved at least a draw but we need to realise that we must be more clinical at big moments in the game, fair play to Congleton who battled for a win and showed real quality with the goals."

Litherland REMYCA 1-0 Barnoldswick Town

Barnoldswick Town manager Endrit Shehu," A very disappointing performance, especially the second half. First half we dominated the game and had four clear chances to finish them off.

"Second half my team never turned up. We lost every tackle, every header and every second ball. If we want to win games we must take our chances early and finish teams off especially the ones who all game are waiting for that one mistake and punish us.

"Moving forward we need to find some desire to win and improve our work rate on and off the ball. The team has enough quality so things will change and results will improve."

Northwich Victoria 1-2 Bootle

Northwich Victoria manager Steve Wilkes, "Another disappointing result considering we were leading the game and should have gone 2-0 in front a 2-1 defeat is hard to take. We can't keep feeling sorry for ourselves and must go again next weekend against Hanley and get a positive result". "

Runcorn Town 0-1 Ashton Athletic

Runcorn Town manager Paul McManus, "Lads put a fantastic shift in today, both sets of players did considering both played Boxing Day on heavy pitches it showed today with both teams creating little and am sure they will say the same that a cruel bobble secured them three points when 1 apiece would have been the correct result in my eyes.

"But we need to dust ourselves off and get have that little break now and get ready for a massive end to season from ourselves as we have fallen short in terms of league position so far this season so everyone knows what’s needed to pull in the right direction to climb the table."

Ashton Athletic manager Dougie Pitts," It was an extremely difficult pitch to try an play any kind of football on, but we showed a different side to us today: a side that dug in and ground out a result. We haven't done that enough lately but the lads stood up.

"After Thursday's disappointment, the game coming so quick was probably a good thing. Having said that, there were a lot of tired legs towards the end of the game and a fantastic strike from Josh won it for us. We've been on the wrong end of some late goals lately so it was nice to pinch one."

Squires Gate 2-1 Avro

Squires Gate manager Luke Evans, "A fantastic three points for us and great to keep our run going. I thought we were very poor first half from the standards we have set ourselves recently but ended up going in 2-1 up by just taking our half chances.

"We came out second half and should definitely have put the game to bed but Avro somehow stayed in the game and fairness made the last ten minutes very nervy, to say the least. We carry this great run on and look forward to Bootle away with optimism."

Whitchurch Alport 0-3 Charnock Richard

Charnock Richard manager Ryan Donnellan, "An outstanding performance from us. We completely dominated the game from start to finish. We played some really good passing football on a tough pitch. A fully deserved three points."
