Following the completion of most of the First Round ties over the course of the last week, the draw for the Second Round of the Macron Cup was conducted at Jericho Lane, the home of South Liverpool FC on Saturday afternoon.
With both South Liverpool and their opponents Cheadle Town both falling at the first hurdle of this year's competition, South Liverpool secretary Jim Stanway and his Cheadle Town counterpart Stuart Crawford were on hand to assist League Treasurer/Secretary John Deal and League Vice-Chairman Geoff Wilkinson with the draw.
As per the same stage last season, the draw was regionalised into four equal groups, however this season the draw for each region was done simultaneously. Clubs in each group were assigned a number between 1 and 8 as per the table below, and the order in which the balls were drawn out of the hat determined the ties in all four zones.
