On Tuesday it was announced that Luke Evans had left NWCFL First Division North side AFC Darwen and had been succeeded by Kenny Langford as an interim manager.
However, they have just released the following statement, "Kenny Langford will be taking on the role of first team manager for the foreseeable future. When we feel the the time is right to take on a new manager, we will open up the application process.
At this moment in time, we will not be taking applications. Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to apply so far. "
Langford's first game in charge is on Saturday when they host Nelson in the league.
