Darwen Goalkeeper Oliver Lombard was this week visited by League Management Committee Member, Mick Ainsworth to received his Reusch First Division Goalkeeper of the Month award for October 2023.
Oliver had a great month playing in six of Darwens games across the Month, keeping one clean sheet, but also according to the clubs nomination statement putting in solid performances across all of the games and producing a string of excellent saves in key game moments.
It's not just the Plaudits he has won this month, he has bagged a superb award from Reusch too in the form of a high spec set of Goalkeeping Gloves. Oliver is pictured receiving his award from Mick ahead of Darwen's game against Ashton Town.
