Wed 13th November 2024 | FA Challenge Vase | By Martin Fallon
The draw for the Third Round Proper of the Isuzu FA Vase has been released.
Following Saturday's ties, just six NWCFL sides are still left in the competition with ten going out. Remarkably we have four First Division sides still in with just two from the Premier Division.
We will be guaranteed a First Division side in the Fourth Round as Atherton LR have been handed a home tie against fellow First Division North side Ashton Town.
Winsford United from the First Division South will fancy their chances of progression as they have a home tie against another Step 6 side in Sutton United (Birmingham) who play in the Midland League First Division.
Fellow league side Abbey Hulton United also have a Step 6 side at home as they take on Hellenic League Division One side Droitwich Spa. Droitwich are top of their league having not loat yet this season.
The two Premier Division sides have also been handed home ties, both against sides from the Northern Counties East. West Didsbury and Chorlton will face former NWCFL side Silsden who beat Ramsbottom United on Saturday, whilst South Liverpool will entertain Albion Sports who knocked out Padiham.
