First Division South New Mills FC have appointed a new managerial team at the club as they look to try and steer away from trouble. They have appointed familiar names to Supporters of the club in the form of Chris Baguley as Manager and Jamie Baguley as Assistant. There are further changes and additions to the coaching staff which have been detailed by a statement release by the clubs board which reads:
Following the recent departure of the Management Team the Board of Directors have been reviewing the raft of applications that they have received for the role, with a view to having a replacement in place for this weekend’s home game against Cammell Laird. After carefully considering the various options the Board of Directors are pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Baguley as Manager, Jamie Baguley as Assistant Manager with Mark Baguley taking up the role of Coach and Aaron Dyche Coach/Scout.
Both Chris and Jamie are well known to Millers’ fans having both previously played for the club.
Most recently they were managing at Abbey Hey, where they oversaw a successful start to the current season with the team placed securely in the play-off places before being surprisingly replaced by the then departed New Mills management team. In addition, Chris and Jamie also have experience managing at NWCFL side Atherton LR and at Manchester League side AFC Monton.
The Board of Directors look forward to working with Chris. Jamie, Mark and Aaron and in supporting them with their plans to turnaround what has been a very disappointing season so far.
