Cleator Moor Celtic have a new main sponsor ahead of the 2021/22 season, finalising a summer of change that has also brought about a new colour home strip and a new First Team manager!
The all white strip that Celtic have worn since entering the league has gone, to be replaced with a turqoise top with grey shorts and grey socks. The sponsor on the front is CCF who are the new main sponsor at the club.
CCF are a nationwide distributor of insulation and interior building products to the UK construction industry. Formed in 1978, they eventually joined the Travis Perkins Group and merged with Atkins Insulation, becoming the group's specialist distributor of insulation and interior building products.
They hold comprehensive stocks of quality products and provide complete solutions for interior building specialists, contractors and builders. With competitive prices, trading terms to suit your business and deliveries you can depend on, give their friendly team a call to help your project.
Stephen Wiles, who is the branch manager for CCF in Carlisle, said "We are delighted to be part of the new set up at Cleator Moor Celtic and we wish the club all the best for the forthcoming season.
As well as a new main sponsor, it is also a new face in the dugout with Brain Dawson taking over from Martin Mahone after he made the difficult decision to step down at the end of last season.
Brian is the Head of Youth Operations and Head Coach of Workington Development Team, and has a proud history in the Sports Industry. He played for Barrow, Workington, Kendal Town and Holker Old Boys, as well as spending time in the USA at Wilmington Hammerheads. He moved into coaching in 2004 establishing Onside Soccer Ciachins, and has also worked with Carlisle United and Seacoast United from New Hampshire in the USA.
Cleator Chairman Graeme Close said "First let me pay tribute to Martin Mahone, who has devoted the best part of his life to this club. He has helped progress the club up to Step 6, with great success along the way. I wush him the very best going forward.
"When MArtin gave his intentions we sat down to look at potential candidates and Brian was approached. It was pleasing to hear we shared the same values and we are delighted to welcoime him onboard".
Brian's assistant will be Craig Routledge who has previously been as both manager and assistant at First Team level.
