Cumbrian club Cleator Moor Celtic have appointed Graham Close as Chairman following the departure of former Chairman, John Murphy in 2020. Neil Grears had been standing in as acting-Chairman but at a recent meeting of the Board, Graham Close who was Vice-Chairman was appointed to the hot seat and promoted to Chairman of the Club.
Graham is a ex-player of the club an can still be seen in the hoops for the Vets team at regular intervals. Graham is a dedicated club man and the Celtic board are sure that Graham will put in 100% into the job and act as an excellent ambassador for the club around the region.
