Alterations To League Tables

Despite the FA Councils decision to declare the 2019/20 season null and void, the League Management Committee cannot just wipe out records as matches have been played and are a matter of fact. We will be maintaining all results, goalscorers and attendances from the 2019/20 season in our archives.
The league tables as they stand now will be the final league tables from the season. However two disciplinary charges have been processed and decisions made that has affected the final league table in the Premier Division and First Division North. The outcome of these disciplinary fndings are below.
In the Premier Division, a protest by Bootle concerning the Skelmersdale United v Bootle match was upheld. The match finished 2-1 to Skelmersdale. The final result from this game has therefore been removed from the records and the league table adjusted (ordinarily this match would have been replayed).
In the First Division North, AFC Darwen have been found guilty of playing an ineligible player in numerous games. A total of 11 points have been deducted from their final total, this being the total number of points they gained with this player playing. AFC Darwen have also been removed from the Macron Cup for the 2020/21 season as one of the games concerned was a cup tie in which they were victorious.
All clubs have accepted the findings of the disciplinary commission.
