Wythenshawe AFC are delighted to announce the appointment of David Broadbent as Commercial Manager for the Football Club.
David joins the club from an extensive commercial background within the football industry, having previously worked for Oldham Athletic, Tranmere Rovers, AFC Fylde and Huddersfield Town during their promotion season to the Premier League. He brings with him a huge amount of sales experience which the board believes will be hugely beneficial to the development of the club.
David said “I am delighted to be joining The Ammies at an exciting time in the Club’s history, there are exciting plans ahead both on and off the pitch and I’m very much looking forward to joining the team, meeting current and new sponsors and to helping grow the Club. We have a fantastic range of sponsorship and partnership opportunities to suit all businesses and budgets and I look forward to working with everyone”.
Carl Barratt, Club Chair, commented “The appointment of David is vital to help us achieve our targets both on and off the pitch. David will be working on a full-time basis and will work alongside our Commercial Directors and we are confident that we will see a positive response to our commercial activity over the coming months and years”.
