Isuzu FA Vase First Round Draw

The FA have today released the draw details for the First Round of the 2025/26 Isuzu FA Vase.
23 of our member Clubs remain in the competition at this stage, although we will lose at least two in Second Qualifying Round replays after being unable to complete their games on Saturday.
Despite the number of clubs remaining, there are just three all-NWCFL ties in the First Round. Its an all First Division North affair as Ashton Town host Darwen, whilst its North v South when Runcorn Town host Fulwood Amateurs. Premier Division Barnoldswick Town will also be at home against the winners of AFC Liverpool and Daisy Hill. There could be a fourth if Holker Old Boys win their replayed game with Route One Rovers, with the winners travelling to Wythenshawe.
Playing a NWCFL side for the first time is Yarm & Eaglescliffe, who are groundsharing with Northern League side Billingham Town. They will host either Thornton Cleveleys or Colne. Also making their debut against our sides is Nuneaton Town, who were formed at the start of last season from the defunct Nuneaton Borough. They will travel to Stafford Town.
Against outside opponents, Euxton Villa will host former NWCFL side Carlisle City, one of seven teams who will face Northern League opponents. Irlam host Shildon, Burscough welcome Billingham Synthonia, Nelson play at home to Harrogate Railway Athletic and Ramsbottom United face Jarrow. Cheadle Town head up to the North East to face West Allotment Celtic, as do South Liverpool who will visit Northallerton Town.
The remaining five sides will all face Northern Counties East League sides. Charnock Richard will travel to Horbury Town with Chadderton hopping over the Pennines to Bradford based Eccleshill United. Droylsden are also on the road as they visit Penistone Church. Prestwich Heys have a home tie against Maltby Main, with Nelson welcoming Harrogate Railway Athletic.
