NWCFL Statement: 2025/26 League Allocations

Following the FA’s announcement of National League System (NLS) Allocations on 15 May, which saw Cheadle Heath Nomads laterally moved to our Step 6 North Division (Step 6), the League has taken the opportunity to review this position and provided alternative proposals.
Cheadle Heath Nomads were laterally moved to the North Division to fill a vacancy left by Route One Rovers being moved into the Northern Counties East League, due to their relocation to a new ground in Bradford. The lateral move was to ensure the North division remained at 18 clubs.
Following discussions with the clubs concerned, and approval from The FA, Cheadle Heath Nomads have been switched back into the First Division South division and one of our new member clubs, MSB Woolton, who were originally placed in the South division, are being moved into the North instead. It was felt that it would be in the best interests of both clubs due to their respective geographic locations.
The final constitution for Season 2025/26 will be ratified at the League AGM being held in Blackpool on Saturday 21st June 2025.
The League would like to thank both clubs for their co-operation.
