League Milestones and Statistics Update: Saturday 31st August 2024.

 

Overall Stats

  • AFC Liverpool’s 3-0-win Bank Holiday win against Irlam saw them complete their 600th game in the NWCFL, it also saw the visitors concede their 500th away goal.
  • Cheadle Town’s defeat against AFC Liverpool saw them concede their 2,600th goal.
  • Colne’s draw with FC isle of Man was their 850th game.
  • Litherland REMYCA scored their 650th goal in the win at Abby Hey.
  • Nelson won 3-1 at Maine Road, but the goal they conceded was their 2,400th.
  • Prestwich Heys scored their 800th goal in the defeat at FC St Helens.
  • Route One Rovers both scored and conceded their 100th goals in the 1-1 draw with Maie Road.
  • Runcorn Town conceded their 850th goal I the defeat to Shawbury Utd.
  • Skelmersdale’s defeat at Droylsden was their 450th.

 

Home Stats

  • Ashton Athletics’ 5-1 win against Daisy Hill saw them pass 650 home goals.
  • Burscough’s draw with Padiham was their 100th at home.
  • Darwen won their 100th home game with the 1-0 success against Garstang.
  • Longridge played their 100th home game, losing against Chadderton.
  • Winsford’s second goal in their win against Market Drayton was their 950th at the Barton Stadium.

 

Away Stats

  • Abbey Hulton have now conceded 250 away goals after their defeat at Cheadle Heath Nomads
  • Daisy Hill conceded their 1,700th away goal in the defeat at Ashton Athletic.

 

Goal Heroes

  • James Hamill, all three of Litherland REMYCA’s goals in the 3-1 win at Abbey Hey
  • Joseph Barker with three for FC St Helens as they beat Stockport Town.

 

Bits and Pieces

  • Glossop’s 1-0 win at Burscough saw them keep their first clean sheet in the league for 31 games.
  • Chadderton’s 0-0 against Lower Breck was their first for 19 games.
  • Alsager Town’ defeat against Shawbury Utd was the first tome they have failed to find the back of the net for 13 games.
  • Eccleshall’s 0-0 with Cammell Laird 1907 was their first in 31 games and the visitors first in 17.
