League Milestones and Statistics: Saturday, March 7th, 2026.

 

Overall Stats:

  • Runcorn Town’s final goal in their 3-1 win at Stafford was their 1,200th.
  • Prestwich Heys conceded their 800th goal as they beat Litherland REMYCA 2-1
  • Barnoldswick Town reached 650 games in the NWCFL on Saturday.
  • Barnton’s game at home to Allscott Heath was their 400th
  • Nelson’s win against Daisy Hill was their 500th from 1,365 games
  • New Mills suffered their 200th defeat on Thursday night, going down 0-1 to Runcorn Town.

 

Home Stats:

  • Maine Road played their 750th home game on Saturday.
  • Euxton conceded their 100th home goal in the defeat to Stockport Town

 

Away Stats:

  • Stockport Town conceded their 300th away goal in the mid-week defeat at Prestwich Heys.

 

Goal Heroes:

  • Lewis-Simon Byrne hit three for Chadderton at Charnock Richard. This was his SIXTH hat-trick of the season. He has now scored an incredible 50 league goals this season. He is now the leading scorer for one season since our records began in 2007, eclipsing Craig Cairns 48 for Runcorn Town in the 2016/17 season.
  • Elliot Taylor scored three for AFC Liverpool against Barnoldswick Town.
  • Thomas Romano scored three for Atherton LR against FC Isle of Man.
  • Cody Artwell scored three of Droylsden’s four as they beat West Didsbury & Chorlton in the Manchester Premier Cup.

 

General Stats:

  • Atherton LR’s 5-1 win against FC Isle of Man was their win by this score in 399 away games, stretching back to a 5-1 win at Stone Dominoes in 2007.
  • Longridge Town recorded their first 5-0 home win since February 2022, beating Northwich Victoria that day.
  • It has been 119 games since Padiham last recorded a 1-0 win, at home or away.
  • Colne’s 2-0 win at home to Ashton Athletic saw them keep their first clean sheet in 25 games.

 

Managers Records: Coming up this week

  • Paul Turnbull has managed 199 games in charge of Stockport Town.
  • John Main is on 249 games in charge of Irlam.
  • Jack Davies of Cheadle Town and Simon Heaton of Abbey Hey have both managed 99 games for their respective clubs.
