League Milestones and Statistics Update: Sunday 25th August 2024.

 

Overall Stats:

  • Atherton LR won their 450th game with the win against Thornton Clevelelys.
  • Glossop’s defeat to Irlam was their 600th in the league (from 1,368 game).
  • Market Drayton conceded their 100th goal as they lost 1-2 at Shawbury.
  • Ramsbottom played their 750th game last Tuesday, going down 0-1 at Colne.
  • Route One Rovers conceded their 100th goal in the defeat at Atherton LR.
  • Winsford Utd notched their 1,800 goal in the big win at Barnton last week.

 

Home Stats:

  • AFC Blackpool’s 5-1 win against Holker was their 750th home game.
  • Abbey Hey played their 500th home game on Saturday.
  • Alsager Town’s second goal in the 3-0 win against Cammell laird was their 700th at Wood Park
  • Garstang’s defeat to Daisy Hill saw them concede their 200th home goal.
  • Ramsbottom’s win against Lower Breck was them pass 750 home goals.

 

Away Stats:

  • None to report this week.

 

Goal Heroes (League):

  • Charlie Frost hit FOUR for Nelson as they beat Bacup Borough 5-1, takes him to thirteen for the season.
  • Thomas Wakefield hit all FOUR of Foley Meir’s as they beat Wolverhampton Sporting Community
  • Nicholas Hepple with three for AFC Blackpool as they were victorious against Holker Old Boys

Goal Heroes (Cup):

  • Patryk Mazurkiewicz with three of Stafford’s goals in their fine 4-1 win Bilston.
  • William proctor with three of Barnoldswick’s four as they beat Northwich Vics in their FA Cup replay.

 

Managers Records:

  • As mentioned last week, Jay Foulds took charge of his 500th Ashton Athletic game, sadly they went down to Droylsden. His 501st was better news as they progressed in the FA Vase with a 2-1 win at home to Stockport Georgians.
