Sandbach United First Division South Club of the Month

Sandbach United have been presented with their Club of the Month award for January 2023.
League Management Committee Member Glyn Jones went along to one of their recent home games, and there he presented the award to Manager Declan Swann on behalf of the club. Looking on were Steve Drury (Kit Man), Mike Senior (Secretary), Paul Cliffe (Matchday Announcer) and Andrew Timms (Treasurer).
In the First Division in January, Brocton won four out of five games with Cheadle Town going through the month unbeaten and scoring 16 goals in the process. However standing head and shoulders above everyone else in the division this month was Sandbach United.
They had a perfect month, winning away at Alsager Town and Abbey Hulton United by the odd goal. They also beatr Abbey Hey 3-2 at home before winning their fourth game of the month when they recorded a 7-0 victory over Stafford Town.
That giving them 14 points from their 4 games for a 3.5 average.
