Premier Division

Avro 5-0 Irlam


A fast start by Avro set the tone for the rest of the match at the Vestacare Stadium. Ahead after just 3 minutes thanks to a cool Liam Ellis finish, Avro doubled their lead on 6 minutes when Joe Rathbone was fouled in the area and skipper Kyle Jacobs scored from the spot.
5 minutes before the break Rathbone got on the scoresheet himself to make it 3-0to Avro at halftime.
Into the 2nd half and just after the hour mark Ryan Pickford made it 4 with a drive from outside the box.
A headed Oumar Camara goal on 74 minutes completed the 5-0 score line.

Padiham 0-2 Barnoldswick Town


A free kick from Andy Hill just outside the box broke the deadlock early after just 11 minutes. In a tight fought game Zack Dale doubled the lead just before half time to make it 0-2 at the break.

The second half remained tight but goaless. A good hard fought away victory for Barnildswick.

Squires Gate 0-3 Longridge Town


A devastating first performance saw Longridge take all the points at Squires Gate.
A 9th minute penalty converted by Owen Watkinson started the scoring for Longridge, who shortly after doubled their lead through a 15th minute Paul Turner goal.
Squires gate started to get a foothold in the game and had a few chances before Owen Watkinson made it 3 for the visitors just before the half hour mark.
Squires Gate improved after the break but Longridge still took all the points 0-3.

Division 1 North


Bury AFC 3-2 Chadderton


An astounding game at the Neuven Stadium saw 7 goals (all scored in the last half an hour!), an unlikely comeback and a red card.
After a tight goaless first half, the second half started with a bang and a red card for Bury AFC. Scott Metcalfes challenge on Harry Dean was deemed a sending off offence by the referee.
On to the 63rd minute and the away team take the lead through Joe Richards. Chadderton then doubled there lead 7 minutes later via Arron Scholes.
With just 20 minutes to go and a man down all seemed lost for Bury. However, in the 72nd minute Jordan Downing scored to give themselves a lifeline. Astoundingly just 2 minutes later Bury were level through Tom Greaves.
86 minutes and substitute Liam MacDevitt is brought down in the box for an Bury penalty.
Greaves sees his shot saved by keeper’ Harrison Fleet but follows up the rebound to make it 3-2 to the home side.
Bury managed to see out the remaining minutes for a memorable win.


Division 1 South


Cheadle Heath Nomads 2-0 Cheadle Town


Two goals in the last 11 minutes for Wilf Riley ensured Cheadle Heath Nomads took all 3 points in this local derby.

Stockport Town 0-0 New Mills


A hard fought goaless draw saw both teams take a point at Lambeth Grove

Vauxhall Motors 2-1 Cammell Laird


In difficult conditions Vauxhall Motors narrowly triumphed at the Syncreon Arena.
A 34th minute header from Dave Forbes gave Vauxhall the lead over Cammell Laird at the break.
On the hour mark Kyle Smyth doubles the lead by coolly rounding the keeper to slot into an empty net.
An own goal on 71 minutes gave Cammell Laird a way back into the match, however, they could find an equaliser. Vauxhall taking all 3 points in a hard fought game.

Wythenshawe Amateurs 1-2 Wythenshawe Town


A hard fought Wythenshawe derby saw Town run out winners 2-1.
Scoring started in the 15th minute with Matty Bryan rounding the keeper and scoring to make it 1-0 to the visitors.
Onto the 56th minute and Rory Fallon scores from a free kick to equalise.
Joy was short lived for the homeside however due to Joel Aikenhead being sent of for a last man tackle on Matty Bryan.
With ‘Amateurs’ now down to 10 men ‘Town’ pushed on to try and find a winner.
Fifteen minutes from the end the opportunity presented itself via the penalty spot. Brad Byrne converts the kick for the away side who hold on to win 2-1.
