League Milestones and Statistics: Saturday, April 11th, 2026

 

Overall Stats:

  • Abbey Hey’s 1-1 with Cheadle in the week was their 200th NWCFL draw, they also conceded their 2,050th goal when winning at Longridge Town.
  • AFC Liverpool won their 300th game on Bank Holiday Monday and extended their current winning sequence in the league to seven games as they won at Stockport Town on Saturday.
  • Ashton Athletic conceded their 1,700th game during the defeat against new champions Nelson.
  • Colne scored their 1,600th goal in the win against Holker Old Boys.
  • Darwen FC’s defeat last week on Monday at Nelson was their 550th NWCFL game.
  • Droylsden’s Wednesday night win against Holker Old Boys saw them score their 500th NWCFL goal.
  • Maine Road conceded their 2,600th goal last week on Monday against Droylsden.
  • Stockport Georgians defeat at Cheadle Heath Nomads was their 50th.
  • Stockport Town conceded their 600th goal when AFC Liverpool scored their winner on Saturday.
  • West Didsbury and Chorlton won their 250th game with their success against Prestwich Heys.

              

Home Stats:

  • Charnock Richard notched up their 100th home win as they beat FC Isle of Man in a nine-goal thriller.
  • Prestwich Heys reached 250 home games on Wednesday night when they beat Chadderton in midweek.

 

Away Stats:

  • City of Liverpool conceded their 150th away goal in last Monday’s defeat at South Liverpool.
  • Glossop 10-0 win at City of Liverpool saw them reach 250 victories on the road, and their ninth goal was their 1,050th away from home.

 

Goal Heroes:

  • Ethan Sutcliffe hit four for Glossop in their win against City of Liverpool.
  • Aaron Dwyer scored three for Wythenshawe in their big win at Pilkington - his third hat-trick of the season.
  • Max Cane hit three for Nelson against Ashton Athletic.

 

General Stats:

  • Runcorn Town have had to wait 396 games for an 8-0 win. Back in November 2016, they beat Cammell Laird 1907.
  • Holker Old Boys suffered their first 5-3 defeat since October 2018, 275 games ago, going down to Carlisle City at home that day…
  • …their visitors, Colne, got their first 5-3 win since October 2023, winning away to Squires Gate back then.
  • Wythenshawe’s last 8-1 away win was in September 2021, against St Martins.
  • Goal fest! There were 106 goals were scored in the 21 games played across all three divisions on Saturday – an average of 5 goals per game.

 

Managers Records:

  • Liam Kelly reached 200 games in charge of Eccleshall with the 2-0 win at Telford Town. Liam was appointed in September 2021 – his record reads as 81 wins, 47 draws and 72 defeats.
