Eccleshall Goalkeeper Adam Whitehouse was presented with his First Division South paxsport Goalkeeper of the Month award for November 2025 at one last Saturday's Eccleshall game against Stafford Town. League Ambassador Andrew Reid took a trip down to the Stoke Signage Stadium and he is pictured presenting Adam with his award prior to the game.

Adam played more than 200 times for the Stafford Rangers after first joining the club in 2014, and was part of the Stafford side that won the 2015/16 Northern Premier League First Division South. After leaving Stafford, he played for Boldmere St. Michaels and Rushall Olympic before moving to Hanley Town and then Newcastle Town. He joined Eccleshall on dual-registration forms in October from Newcastle.

The first game for Eccleshall in the month was at Wolverhampton Casuals with Eccleshall taking a 34th minute lead. He could do nothing to stop Alex Coster's close range header for the equaliser just before half time, but made several key stops in the second half which allowed the Eagles to see out a 3-1 win.

Next was Abbey Hulton United at home in the Staffordshire Cup. Against their higher ranked opponents, Eccleshall ran out 3-0 winners with Adam keeping his second clean sheet in the five games he had played for the club. Two soon became three with another clean sheet in a 1-0 win over Ashville.

The fourth game of the month saw Eccleshall with another fine win as they won 3-0 at Barnton. It brought a third successive clean sheet for Adam, and his fourth in just the seven games he had played for the club.

The final game was a 6-2 win at home to Haughmond.

Five games played for Adam last month, with three clean sheets and just three goals conceded.

Congratulations Adam!
