Weekend 15 in the NWCFL saw Holker and Wythenshawe in FA Vase action with the league the focus for the other clubs.

Isuzu FA Vase

Holker Old Boys were the winners in the replayed FA Vase game against Wythenshawe, the Cumbrians finally taking their place in the next round of the competition at the second attempt.

Goals from Jamie Hodgson and Joseph McGladdery put the First Division North side 2-0 ahead, with Princewill Anuniru making it a frantic finish by reducing the defecit with 15 minutes to play. Holker held on though and will play Albion Sports in the next round next Saturday afternoon.

Premier Division

Ramsbottom United are the new leaders of the Premier Division after a 3-0 away win at Prestwich Heys. Jacob Holland-Wilkinson added two more goals goals to take his tally for the season to 17, following on from Matthew Dudley's opener midway through the second half.

Former leaders Padiham are now second after going down to a 2-0 defeat at Irlam. The Salford based side are now fourth in the table, a goal from John Main in the first half followed up by an own goal in the second half.

West Didsbury & Chorlton remain third after a 5-0 away win at Pilkington, with Jordan Lazenbury scoring twice. The final Play-Off spot is occupid by Wythenshawe who were not in league action.

Litherland REMYCA remain at the bottom of the table after losing 3-0 at Charnock Richard. Two goals just before half time put Charnock in control and they added a third with 18 minutes remaining. Abbey Hey are in the other relegation position after a 3-2 home defeat by South Liverpool, for whom Sullivan Barker scored a hat-trick.

Harry Scarborough also scored a hat-trick as FC St Helens won 3-0 at Cheadle Town. Glossop North End also scored three as they twice came from behind to win 3-2 at Atherton LR, Dylan Switters scoring a stoppage time winner. Burscough made it ten wins for the season as they won 2-1 at Barnoldswick Town.

Longridge Town were denied victory on their trip to FC Isle of Man with Dean Pinnington hitting a stoppage time leveller for the home side. Longridge came from a goal down to lead 2-1 before Pinnington struck. Stockport Town and Chadderton drew 1-1, with City of Liverpool and Euxton Villa playing out a goalless draw.

First Division North

With Nelson seeing their game with Garstang postponed, Maghull are the new leaders after Connor Rankin gave them a 1-0 home win against Maine Road.

The Admirals drop to second with Droylsden third after a fourth loss in five games. Mauro Mendes scored a brace for the Bloods but they went down 4-3 at Fulwood Amateurs for whom Charlie Howarth also scored two. Fulwood led that game 4-0 with just 20 minutes remaining.

Darwen are fourth after a 3-1 home win against Ashton Athletic gave them a third straight win. And Ashton Town are fifth after a 4-2 win over Thornton Cleveleys, Ryan Talbot scoring twice for Ashton.

Kristian Holt scored twice for Daisy Hill to give them a 2-1 win at home to Squires Gate. AFC Blackpool also picked up three points after a 1-0 home win against Steeton.

The final game saw Colne come from two goals behind to lead 3-2 at MSB Woolton before the home side equalised to make it 3-3.

First Division South

Leaders Runcorn Town picked up a big three points to move six points clear after a 1-0 win at their nearest challengers Telford Town, Matthew Vickers with the only goal of the game in the 35th minute.

Eccleshall took advantage of Telford's loss to jump ahead of them into second after a 3-1 win at Wolverhampton Casuals, Jacob Vernon scoring twice in that game.

Stockport Georgians were denied second place after a last minute equaliser by Stafford Town, those two sides now occupying fourth and fifth in the table.

The biggest win of the day came from Cheadle Heath Nomads, with Matty Argent-Barnes scoring a hat-trick in a 7-0 win over Haughmond. Allscott Heath also had a good win as they beat Shawbury United 6-0, Steven Hole scoring a hat-trick with Charlie Hopper getting two.

New Mills beat Market Drayton Town 3-1 with Foley Meir coming from behind to beat Wolverhampton Sporting Community 2-1. There was also a 2-1 win for Cammell Laird 1907, that win coming at Alsager Town.

The final game saw Ashville coming from behind to draw 1-1 with Sandbach United.
