League Milestones and Statistics: Saturday, 6th September 2025

 

Overall Stats:

  • Stafford Town’s defeat at Sandbach Utd was their 150th league game.
  • Burscough’s 5-0 win against FC isle of Man saw them score their 1,600th league goal.
  • Maghull conceded their 950th goal as they lost at Thornton Cleveleys.
  • Longridge’s 2-1 win at Chadderton resulted in them conceding their 500th goal.

 

Home Stats:

  • Ramsbottom Utd played their 400th home game with the win against AFC Liverpool.

 

Away Stats:

  • Nothing this week.

 

Goal Heroes:

  • Luke Noble tops the honours this week, hitting FOUR for Thornton Cleveleys as they beat Maghull 5-2.
  • Jordan Darr scored three of Charnock Richards four as they beat City of Liverpool 4-2

 

General Stats:

  • Pilkington’s win at Glossop saw them keep their first clean sheet in 13 games.
  • Steeton’s 1-1 at Bacup was their first score draw in 18 games.
  • Darwen had their first score draw in 12 games
  • Wolverhampton Casuals kept their first clean sheet in 11 games stretching back to last season.
  • Unbeaten in the league: Padiham in the Prem have the only unbeaten record and the only 100% league record across all three divisions. Telford Town are the only unbeaten South Division side. Bacup have now got their season underway and are unbeaten in their first two, the only team in the North Division not to face defeat.

 

Managers:

  • Dave Jones took charge of his 100th Artherton LR squad – his side winning 3-1 at Cheadle Town.
