We are rapidly approaching the application deadline for our two high-profile Colunteer Staff vacancies that we currently have at the NWCFL.  The Application deadline for both positions is this Friday 29th October and we would encourage anyone who is interested or curious to follow this up and get in touch before the deadline as we look to build for what is likely to be a busy second half of the 2021-22 season and planning has already tentatively started for 2022-23!

First up we are looking to recruit an Assistant League Secretary.  The position is on a voluntary basis and home based but a role based honorarium is paid at the end of each League season by the Board and reasonable expenses will be paid. The preferred candidate may also have the opportunity of taking a vacancy on the League Board, subject to board approval.

No prior knowledge required as full training and support will be provided although experience of football administration would be an advantage.  Awareness of League and FA Rules regarding player registration and player transfers would also be useful.  The role is home based but there will be a requirement at times to attend key games on behalf of the league.

Next we are also looking to appoint a League Media Officer. The North West Counties Football League is seeking an ambitious and reliable individual to work with our Head of Media in helping developing and building our press and digital team for the competition. If you are looking to build a career in the media, digital marketing or social media, this role could be perfect for you. The League was an early adopter of social media and our website attracts over one million visitors during the football season.

We are now looking for someone to help us take our media channels to the next level, increase our social reach and engagement and enhance the commercial potential of our channels. The position is on a voluntary basis but a role based honorarium is paid at the end of each League season by the Board and reasonable expenses will be paid.
