After 16 months in charge at NWCFL First Division South side FC Oswestry Town, Matt Burton has resigned from the club leaving them in a strong position in the tables.
A statement from the club says, "Unfortunately over the weekend we have reluctantly accepted the resignation of Matt Burton as our Manager, we like to place on record that we all appreciate the amazing effort, hard work and dedication he has shown since he joined the club in July 2018, he leaves us top of the league and with the best squad our club has ever had, we wish Matt all the best in the future."
Their next game is on Tuesday in the league against Abbey Hey.
