Just an hour or so after NWCFL First Division South side Stone Old Alleynians announced that Jamie Cullerton was no longer their manager - they had announced a new man at the helm.
Former Witton Albion Assistant and fellow South side Alsager Town manager Wayne Brotherton is now the "gaffer" at the third-place side.
A short statement from the club says, "The club can confirm that assistant manager Wayne Brotherton as become the new Manager of Stone Old Alleynians. We wish Wayne all the best in trying to get the club promoted."
Brotherton's first game in charge will be on Saturday when they face Wythenshawe Town in the league (3:00pm kick-off).
