First Division South side, Ashville have undertook a Managerial change over the course of the week as they prepare for the 2024-25 NWCFL Season.
An Announcement on Monday from the club stated that Gary Jones was leaving the Wirral side, stating "Ashville FC regret to announce that Gary Jones has stepped down from his role of First Team Manager with immediate effect. The club would like to place on record it's sincere gratitude and thanks to Gary for his contributions during his time in the dugout."
The club have overnight announced that Gary Jones' former Assistant, namely former Bootle Manager Steve Scott has been appointed First Team Manager and have stated "Steve brings with him a wealth of experience as both a player and Manager having spent time at Everton, Manchester City and Oldham Athletic before dropping into non-league with Bootle and Warrington Town."
