2026 Pre-Season Friendlies
Tue 23rd June 2026 | Bits & Pieces | By Martin Fallon
Preparations for the 2026/27 season are in progress for our clubs with many clubs returning to pre-season training this week.
It's not long then until pre-season games start, and as with previous years we have compiled a list of friendlies involving our clubs which are now live on the website.
A list of pre-season friendlies involving NWCFL clubs is available here: https://www.nwcfl.com/pre-season.php. This can also be found on the Match Centre dropdown.
Please note that this list is non-exhaustive and fixtures are subject to change at short notice. We try to source kick off times and alternative venues where known. If we don't know the kick off then it goes down as 00.00, and the ground defaults to the home teams usual ground. We would ask that you please check with clubs before travelling to a particular fixture.
After a game has finished, one of our Match Reports team add the result for the game, however we do not ask clubs to send in their results so this may not be immediate like competitive games. Social Media is usually a very good friend at this time!
You will notice that most pre-season games start in July, with June classed as "close season" by the FA which is why you do not usually get games in June. However clubs can ask their local County FA for permission to play a pre-season game in June.
