Weekend 21 saw action this weekend from the Third Round of the Isuzu FA Vase and all three divisions of the league.

Isuzu FA Vase

It was heartbreak for Prestwich Heys as they bowed out of the Isuzu FA Vase with a 2-1 defeat at Winsford United. 

The reigning First Division South Champions, who now play in the Midland League, trailed for much of the game after Takura Sambizi gave Prestwich the lead after just seven minutes. 

The scores remained that way until five minutes into stoppage time when Niza Chilufya hauled Winsford level. And two minutes later, Oliver Pope netted the winner to send Winsford through to the Fourth Round for the first time in their history.

Premier Division

Padiham remain top of the Premier Division after a 3-0 away win at City of Liverpool. The Purps have shipped a lot of goals recently but put in an improved performance in a game that was goalless at half time. Four minutes into the second half., Jakub Hebda put the Storks ahead before Matthew Makinson added a second midway through the half. Jack Price made sure of the points a minute from time with the third.

Wythenshawe remain second despite not playing with West Didsbury & Chorlton third after a 2-1 away win at Abbey Hey on Friday evening. Ramsbottom United are fourth, their home game on Friday evening with Euxton Villa postponed. And FC St Helens remain fifth, despite going down to a 4-1 defeat at Irlam for whom Ethan Cartwright scored twice. 

Litherland REMYCA remain at the foot of the table after a 2-0 home defeat by Longridge Town. They are eight points adrift of Abbey Hey who are second from bottom.

Glossop North End scored the most goals at the weekend with a 6-3 win at Chadderton with Jacques Etia scoring twice. The biggest winning margin came at FC Isle of Man who beat AFC Liverpool 5-0 with Charlie Higgins scoring twice. 

George Kattah scored twice for Stockport Town as they won 2-1 at Cheadle Town on Friday night. Charnock Richard scored twice inside three minutes in the second half to come from behind and beat Burscough 2-1, with Atherton LR winning 1-0 at Pilkington. The final game saw Barnoldswick Town and South Liverpool play out a goalless draw.

First Division North

Ashton Town remain top of the First Division North after coming from behind twice to draw 2-2 with Colne, Nathan Cliffe scoring twice for the visitors. Their lead remains a point as Darwen were held to a 3-3 draw with Holker Old Boys. The Cumbrians led 2-0 in that game, with Darwen hitting back to level before going ahead in stoppage time, only for Holker to level six minutes into time added on.

Maghull are third after they were without a game this weekend, with Squires Gate now fourth after they came from behind to win 4-1 at Maine Road, Dean Ing scoring twice for them. Droylsden occupy the last play-off spot in fifth after a 2-2 draw at Nelson, Mackena Bradshaw scoring a stoppage time leveller for the Bloods. The only other h

That Squires Gate game was only one of two victories in the division on Saturday, with six of the eight games ending in draws. The only other victory came for MSB Woolton, who made it four games unbeaten with a 2-0 home win against bottom placed Ashton Athletic.

Garstang remain second from bottom after a 1-1 draw at home to Bacup Borough, with Maine Road third from bottom. The final game was a Fylde coast derby as AFC Blackpool drew 2-2 with Thornton Cleveleys, the Mechanics coming from 2-0 down in that game. 

First Division South

Runcorn Town recorded a huge three points to move nine points clear in the First Division South after a 4-3 victory over nearest challengers Eccleshall. It was the visitors who went two goals ahead after just 14 minutes, only for Matty Vickers to score twice to level matters by the half hour. Sam Flower then put Town ahead, before Eccleshall equalised eight minutes into the second half. Flower's hit his second of the game with nine minutes to go to give Runcorn the win.

Telford Town took advantage of Eccleshall's loss to leapfrog them into second place after a 4-1 win at Haughmond. The home side took an early lead only for a brace from Macara McNulty-Hartnett to turn things around by half time. Four minutes into the second half it was three, with Telford adding a fourth with five minutes to go.

Stockport Georgians are fourth after a 2-1 win at home to Cammell Laird 1907. It was a quick fire start with Georgians two up after just nine minutes, with Lairds' goal coming midway through the second half from the penalty spot. Stafford Town are fifth after a 1-1 draw at Ashville. They took the lead after 26 minutes with Ashville levelling with 12 minutes to go.

Barnton are level on points with Stafford but have played three games more, and they went down 2-1 at home to New Mills. They went ahead in the first half through a penalty before the Millers turned things around in the second half. Sandbach United are four points off the play-offs, and they were held to a 1-1 draw at Allscott Heath with the home side scoring their equaliser two minutes from time.

Foley Meir had a 3-0 win at Alsager Town to move level on points with Sandbach, with the final game seeing Wolverhampton Casuals and Market Drayton Town play out a goalless draw.

Open dated Wolverhampton Sporting Community remain bottom with Haughmond second bottom. The final relegation spot is occupied by Shawbury United who were also without a game.
