League Milestones and Statistics: Sunday 19th October 2025

 

Overall Stats:

  • Runcorn Town scored their 1150th league goal in the 4-0 midweek win at Alsager Town. This was also the home clubs 200th home defeat (from 464 games).

 

Home Stats:

  • Bacup Borough won their 300th home game with the 4-0 win against MSB Woolton.
  • Atherton LR played their 750th home game this week – the midweek defeat to Wythenshawe.
  • Daisy Hill conceded their 1,500th home goal when Maine Road opened the scoring in the 2-2 draw.

 

Away Stats:

  • Barnton’s defeat at Sandbach Utd was their 100th on the road.
  • Litherland REMYCA conceded their 400th away goal in the 0-4 defeat at Padiham.

 

Goal Heroes:

  • Luke Byron hit three of Prestwich Heys' magnificent nine against Maltby Main in the FA vase – the first by a Prem player since the 23rd of last month.
  • Jacob Till with three of Maghull’s seven against Steeton.
  • Matthew Hearsey with all three of Stafford Town’s goals in their FA Vase defeat to Nuneaton Town (on penalties).
  • Sam Mann bagging all three of Ashville’s in their midweek win against Cheadle Heath Nomads.

 

General Stats:

  • Colne suffered their first 5-0 defeat whilst in the NWCFL since losing at home to Glossop in December 2008.
  • Burscough’s 6-0 FA Vase win was their first by this score since 2018 May 2018 when they won at Squires Gate.
  • Barnoldswick Town kept their first clean sheet in 26 games with their 1-0 FA Vasw win against AFC Liverpool.
  • League and Cup, West Didsbury & Chorlton have now won eight consecutive games, with Chadderton and Cheadle both on runs of six and Ramsbottom on four.
  • Outside the Prem, Ashville currently have four wins on the trot.

 

Managers Records – Coming up:

  • Kevin Watkin and Dave Round took charge of their 250th Holker Old Boys side with the win at Squires Gate. They were appointed in October 2018.
  • Burscough 3-1 Liverpool Senior Cup win on Tuesday was manager Dave Dempsey’s 100th in charge of Burscough.
