Blind Tiger Inns have renewed their sponsorship of local football club Euxton Villa FC for the eighth consecutive season, taking their total investment in the club to over £40,000.
The long-standing partnership has supported not only Euxton Villa’s first team but also many of the club’s junior and girls’ teams. In addition, Blind Tiger Inns funded the stand at the ground three years ago—an investment that enabled Euxton Villa to progress into the North West Counties Football League.
As part of the new agreement, Blind Tiger Inns will continue as the first team home kit and training/leisurewear sponsors.
The renewal comes at a hugely exciting time for Euxton Villa, who, after two seasons in the North West Counties First Division North, have secured promotion to the Premier Division for the 2025/26 season. Even more significantly, the club will make its FA Cup debut this year—marking a historic milestone.
Club Chairman, Mark McDonnell, said:
“The support of Blind Tiger Inns has been phenomenal, particularly with the purchase of the stand we required to move up into the North West Counties league. Since then the club has really accelerated, with massive input and investment from the FA. We now have 52 teams competing at all levels, and the club is a huge part of the local community.”
Blind Tiger Inns are strong supporters of grassroots sport, sponsoring football, hockey, and running clubs across the North West. Chris Tulloch, Managing Director of Blind Tiger Inns, added:
“Operating community pubs gives us a great platform to work with local teams and charities to strengthen community bonds. We have invested well over £100,000 in local communities since we began trading in 2017. It’s particularly fun to be able to donate to Euxton Villa, as it brings back memories of me being an unused substitute for them in the under-8’s team back in 1986—a proud moment for me!”
