Djavan Pedro receives his Player of the Month Award

We were delighted to catch up recently with the Premier Division Player of the Month award winner for November 2024.
Bury striker Djavan Pedro received the award from League Director Ian Williams who carried out the presentation on behalf of the League at a recent game.
Affectionately known as DJ, he started his career with Salford City, making four first team appearances including a substitute appearance against Burnley in the Caraboa Cup. After release he joined Buxton before moving to Bury in October. It's fair to say he has hit the ground running.
He made his debut in the last game of October, and scored his first goal for the club in the opening game of November in a 2-0 win over Pilkington.
Another goal followed in the next game, a 1-1 draw with FC St Helens, a game in which he also picked up Man of the Match. This was repeated days later as he scored both Bury goals in a 2-0 win at AFC Liverpool, winning another Man of the Match award.
DJ then scored another brace and provided an assist in the 8-0 victory over Longridge, picking up his third Man of the Match. DJ's fourth Man of the Match award of the month and another goal came in the Shakers first league defeat of the season at Lower Breck.
A superb month was rounded off by DJ with his 8th goal of the month came in the 4-2 victory away at Burscough in the last game of the month
