First Division South Player of the Month for October, Brocton's Morgan Payne received a visit from North West Counties League representative John Reid recently for the purpose of receiving his award.
The forward played eight games that month, scoring eleven goals and providing three assists which mad him a clear winner that month.
His Player of the Month nomination statement from Brocton read: "Morgan played in 4 League games and 4 Cup games, scoring 6 League Goals and 5 Cup. He has been in excellent form all month scoring 2 hat tricks and getting goals in vital times of the game. Morgan isn't just an out and out goal scorer but his presence around the pitch in creating chances and maintaining possession has made him a key player for us."
Hard to argue with that! Many congratulations to Morgan.
