The August Winners of the Player of the Month Awards for each Division were confirmed at the NWCFL League Management Committee Meeting which was held this week. The Three Divisional winners are confirmed as follows:
PREMIER DIVISION - Congratulations to James Bailey of Kendal Town. James has had a great month for Kendal being a prolific scorer for the Mintcakes, bagging 13 goals in the month of August, a haul which has kept his club clear at the top of the table and making an early statement of intent.
FIRST DIVISION NORTH - Lewis Rawsthorn of Atherton LR has been confirmed as the First Division North Player of the Month for August having played a key part in LR's great start this season. Four Man of the Match awards already during a month that has seen him net nine times for LR as they have kept the pressure on FC St Helens at the top end of the table. Our congratulations to Lewis as he takes the August Award for the Division.
FIRST DIVISION SOUTH - In Division One South it is Nicky Parker of Market Drayton Town who takes the award having had an influential role in establishing Market Drayton Town as one of the early season challengers. Two out of his five Man of the Match awards were picked up in the month of August and in that time he also scord six times which included braces against Abbey Hey and Ashville. Well done Nicky!
