Jawed Jebrin of Lower Breck has been presented with his Player of the Month award for October 2022.
League Management Committee Member Glyn Jones caught up with Jawed at last night's Lower Breck home game to present him with his award.
This is what was said about him when the announcement was made.
PREMIER DIVISION - JAWED JEBRIN (LOWER BRECK)
It's Lower Breck's first winner of this award since Ste Milne in September 2019, with Jawed Jebrin a deserved winner after a tremendous month.
JJ really came into his own after a substitute appearance at Longridge in the opening game of the month. He took on board the advice and guidance from the management and really stepped up to the plate when it mattered most this month.
The game after Longridge he scored his first hat-trick for Breck as his side won 4-1 at West Didsbury & Chorlton. He also got Man of the Match that game. That was followed by a loss to Northwich Vics, with JJ again getting the opposition nod for Man of the Match. A 4-1 win at Litherland REMYCA was next with JJ getting another goal and setting up one for Jamie Menagh, and he did everything but score in the 2-0 win over AFC Liverpool, including one cleared off the line.
A third Man of the Match for the month came at Congleton Town where he also netted his fifth goal of the month, and he also had an excellent performance in the final game of the month at home to Barnoldswick.
