League Milestones and Statistics: Saturday 1^st February 2025

A quiet week for milestones, with twenty-four league games played.

Overall Stats:

• Maghull’s defeat at Nelson was their 600^th game and their 90^th minute goal from Darren Brannigan was their 1,000^th league goal.
• Ashton Athletic’s 3-3 with Garstang was their 150^th NWCFL draw.

Home Stats:

• Barnoldswick Town’s win against Squires Gate was their 300^th home game.

Away Stats:

• Irlam’s win at Stockport Town on Monday night was their 300^th away game.
• Garstang conceded their 250^th away goal with the 3-3 at Ashton Athletic.

Goal Heroes:

• Ryan Moore with three of Barnoldswick’s four in the win against Squires Gate, his first of the season and his clubs first since 1^st April 2023 when George Chmeil hit three in a 4-2 win at Prestwich Heys.
• Deklan Hill with all three of Ashton Athletics’ goals against Garstang – he is also scored the North Division’s last hat-trick at the end of December.

General Stats:

• Darwen’s 0-1 defeat at home to Droylsden broke a sequence of fourteen scoring games.
• Allscott Heath kept their first clean sheet in twenty games as they beat Foley Meir 1-0.
• There are THREE teams who have played over 1,500 games in the NWCFL: Bacup Borough (1,563), Chadderton (1,547) and AFC Blackpool (1,509)
