League Milestones and Statistics, Two-week Update:
Monday 4th November to Saturday 16th November 2024

Overall Stats

  • Bury’s win at AFC Liverpool was their 150th NWCFL game, with a win percentage of 66%.
  • Squires Gate’s defeat to FC Isle of Man was their 600th in 1,290 games.
  • Stockport Town conceded their 500th goal as they lost at home to Colne.
  • Alsager’s defeat at home to Eccleshall was their 900th league game and their visitors opening goal was their 1,052nd.
  • Bury’s thumping win over Longridge was their 100th victory in 152 games.
  • Burscough’s opening goal in their defeat at FC Isle of Man was their 1,550th , it was also the islanders 150th game.
  • New Mills defeat at home to Stafford Town was their 550th game.

Home Stats

  • Route One Rovers have now conceded 50 home goals after their 2-3 defeat against AFC Blackpool.

Away Stats

  • AFC Blackpool’s win at Route One Rovers was their 750th away game.
  • Padiham’s win at Charnock Richard was both their 550th game away and 200th victory on the road.

Goal Heroes

  • Matthew Birchall hit three for Winsford United in their big FA Vase win against Darwen FC.
  • Lewis Reilly hit three of Glossop’s five as they beat Dronfield in the Derbshire Senior Cup.
  • Chris Hill with all three of FC St Helens goals in the win at Squires Gate.
  • Joseph Bevan with three for Sandbach as they won 4-1 at Ashville, his second triple of the season.

Bits and Pieces

  • Colne won their first game in the league since 20th August (when they beat league leaders Ramsbottom 1-0 at home). It was also their first win in any competition since they beat Thornton Cleveleys in the Macron Cup on 1st October.
  • Longridge’s defeat at home to Glossop was the first time they have failed to score in 24 games – going back to the second game of the season.
  • Colne kept their first clean sheet in 21 games as they beat West Didsbury and Chorlton 2-0.
  • Maghull failed to score for the first time in 10 games with their defeat at Droylsden.
  • Bacup’s 1-1 with Holker was their first score draw in 14 games.
  • Wolverhampton Sporting’s 2-0 win against Allscott Heath was their first clean sheet in 15 games.
