Pilkington FC have acted quickly following the departure of Dave Tickle last night and appointed Steve Palfrey as First Team Manager. Steve is well known to cle club and its fans and he was a haralded figure for the club in their Cheshire League days.
The Club have release a statement today stating..... Pilkington FC Chairman, Jim Woodyer, has been quick to appoint a new Manager. Jim said "I am delighted to announce that Ste Palfrey (Known locally as Mr Pilkington FC) has accepted the offer and will return as First Team Manager at Pilkington FC. Ste has led the club to Three promotions previously, so I am confident he will lead us again to the play offs". Best of luck to Ste and his team.
