Managerial Change at Runcorn Town

Runcorn Town are seeking applications for the post of Manager following the recent Departure of Paul McManus.  After discussions with the existing coaching staff today, Assistant Manager Danny Jarrett, Coach Mark Reed and Goalkeeper Coach Paul Singer will all be leaving the club as Town look to revamp their coaching line-up following an indifferent start to their Premier Division Campaign.

John Shaw and Adam Reid have agreed to take charge of the team as an interim management team until the club can make a permanent appointment. That will be starting with Saturday’s game home against Charnock Richard.

On the clubs website runcorntown.co.uk the club state that they are inviting applications for the Managerial role and state: 

"We are ideally seeking a candidate who has previous experience of managing at NWCFL level or equivalent. The candidate should have the skills, drive and determination to mount a significant challenge in the 2021/22 season and beyond.  The candidate will be responsible for all First Team matters including squad recruitment/selection and leading training sessions. The role will involve working with the Development Team manager to provide player progression within the club.
