September saw Elliot have an impressive month as Irlam won all five of their games. He kept clean sheets in three of those victories, the 2-0 win at home to Ramsbottom United and 3-0 away win at Glossop North End in the league, as well as the 1-0 win at home to Glossop in the Macron Cup. The other two games saw him concede just three goals in total.

Elliott just edged out Oliver Culkin of Chadderton and Jordan Latham of Droylsden in what was a very close decision this month, with those two also keeping three clean sheets..

Congratulations to Elliot on his award!

FIRST DIVISION NORTH

The Goalkeeper of the Month award for the First Division North has gone to Harry Turner of Colne. It marks a great month for the club with teammate Barney Wiggin also winning the Player award in September.

Harry has a lot of experience playing in the NWCFL having represented Bacup Borough for a number of seasons as well as spells at Darwen, Barnoldswick Town, Ashton Athletic and West Didsbury and Chorlton. He was at Fleetwood Town as a youngster and has also played in Sweden. He signed for Colne at the start of last season.

It has been an exceptional month for Harry in September. He played in all eight games that his side played, helping them to victory in five of them. Those wins, which came at home to Bacup Borough and Darwen, as well as away at Squires Gate, Daisy Hill and Tow Law Town, saw Harry keep five clean sheets.

Across the eight games, he only conceded ten goals, with four coming at the hands of Northern Premier League side Bamber Bridge in the Lancashire Challenge Trophy.

Congratulations to Harry for his performances in the month!

FIRST DIVISION SOUTH

The winner of the September 2026 Goalkeeper of the Month Award for the First Division South is Rhys Williams of Brerteton Sociall.

Rhys has played previously in the NWCFL for Stafford Town and Eccleshall, and is one of two goalkeepers that Brereton have used since coming into the league at the start of the season. He has also played for Hednesford Town and Shifnal Town, and helped Brereton win the Staffordshire League last season.

Rhys played just three games in the month with two of them were against teams in the top five in the league. He kept Sandbach United at bay in the opening game and was denied a clean sheet when Robbie Hatton scored three minutes into stoppage time to give Sandbach a 1-0 win. Next was a game against Dawley Town, with Rhys keeping Breretons first clean sheet since the opening week of the season in a goalless draw. The third was against AFC Bridgnorth with another clean sheet registered as Brereton won 1-0.

Congratulations Rhys on a great month!
