Hanley Town have announced that Manager, Micky Morton has submitted his resignation to the club and that they have reluctantly accepted it.
Morton, a former player at the club has been in charge at the club through a difficult time for all clubs in football and the club has announced today that it "would like to place on record their thanks to Micky for years of dedication both as a player and as Manager. He will always be welcome at Hanley Town Football Club".
