The FA National Leagues Manager has this afternoon informed us that Whitchurch Alport FC have been allocated to play in the NWCFL Division One in season 2015-16.
The club, who played in the Mercian Regional Football League Premier Division last season, were initially refused permission by the FA to join our league in May, but appealed the decision.
At a hearing today the decision was reversed, and we welcome them to the NWCFL family.
With the league constitution now set at 22 clubs in the Premier Division and 18 clubs in Division One, this now means that the NWCFL cup draws can now be made. Full details of the draws will be published on the league website at 10 am on Saturday morning.
