Nelson - the Admirals have appointed Lewis Cherry as the club's new Media Manager. Lewis, 19, is currently in his 2nd year of a 3 year Football Business & Media degree at UCFB, Burnley and will be taking charge of all Media duties at the club.

Squires Gate - children will be admitted free to Gate's game against Winsford Utd at the Royal British Legion Stadium this Saturday. A free soft drink will also be given to all under 12s attending the game.

Cheadle Town - the club have produced an official calander for 2015, containing pictures from Town games.  They are priced at £5 each, and are available from the Park Road refreshment hut on match days.

Spot kick trivia - a few facts and figures about penalties in all competitions this season.

Congleton Town are the only Premier Division club who have had penalties successfully converted by four different players this season.

Nick Rogan, Scott Barlow, Tom Rutter and Ben Halfacre have all scored once for the Bears from the spot this season, with the latter also scoring five penalties for Stockport Sports before his move to Booth Street.

In Division One, the record is jointly held by Atherton Collieries and Cheadle Town, who both have three different players who have scored from penalties. The Colls' marksmen are Mark Battersby (five), and Matthew Boland and Gareth Carson with one apiece.

Colls could claim the prize outright if you include the players who have scored for them in two penalty shoot outs this season!

Cheadle's marksmen are Nathan Neequaye with two penalties, and Luke Pearson and James Horan on one apiece.

Bootle are the only Premier Division club who have yet to score with a penalty this season, while in Division One, Oldham Boro and Northwich Flixton Villa also have yet to break their duck from the spot.
