The FA has provided an update regarding the allocation of clubs to the NWCFL for season 2014-15.
Worksop Town have tendered their resignation from the Northern Premier League, Step 3 of the National League System. This has resulted in a number of changes having to be made to the club allocations to leagues, which were initially issued following the recent meeting of the FA Leagues Committee held on 15th May.
The impact of this for the NWCFL is that Kidsgrove Athletic have now been reprieved from relegation to the NWCFL Premier Division (Step 5) and will continue to play in the Northern Premier League Division 1 South (Step 4).
The League Management Committee is still awaiting clarification from the FA with regard to the applications from Stockport Town and Cammell Laird 1907, and any updates regarding this will be published on the League website when received.
