FA Allocation Of Clubs
Sat 17th May 2014 | General | By Ian Templeman
As reported previously, the FA Leagues Committee held a meeting on Thursday at which the allocation of clubs to Leagues in the Pyramid were discussed.
The following moves affecting the NWCFL have been confirmed.
It was agreed that Kidsgrove Athletic, relegated from Step 4, will be allocated to the NWCFL Premier League. Norton United have been promoted and allocated to the Evo-Stik League Division One South.
The following clubs have been recommended for promotion to the NWCFL from their Step 7 Leagues:
Barnton FC (Cheshire League)
Litherland REMYCA FC (Liverpool County Premier League)
However, Uttoxeter Town from the Staffordshire Senior League, who had applied to join the NWCFL and had received ground grading visits from our League's Ground Grading Committee, have been recommended for promotion to the Midland League.
There may be further movements of clubs between Leagues within the Pyramid, and Mike Appleby, Leagues & Clubs Manager from the FA's Football Services Division said: "There are a few other issues yet to be determined and these will be clarified in the coming days".
Any moves affecting the NWCFL will be reported on the website as soon as we are informed of these by the FA.
