Northwich Villa have announced the appointment of Kevin Langley as their new manager.
Kevin, who is originally from St Helens, is a former professional footballer who started his career at Wigan Athletic, making his first team debut in 1981. He was transferred to Everton in 1986 then to Manchester City in 1987.
Following spells at Chester City and Birmingham he returned to Wigan in 1990, playing in a further 157 games which contributed to a Club record of 317 appearances for the Latics.
On leaving Wigan in 1994 he moved to a number of non-league clubs including Halifax, Bangor, Flint Town, Witton Albion, Congleton Town and Kidsgrove Athletic as a player, player-manager or manager.
