League Statistician Kevin Lawton has reviewed the latest games around the NWCFL and Buildbase FA Vase to find the latest achieved Milestones.
Stats Weekly Update: Sunday 21st November 2021
Just a few milestones this week:
Garstang scored their 200th goal with their draw at Campion.
Chadderton hit their 300th home goal when beating AFC Blackpool, 3-0. and Winsford Utd's 1-1 draw at home to Padiham was their 100th home draw.
Goal Heroes
A goal saver hero to start with this week. Eric Merner, the Eccleshall custodian was called into action when his team held Port Vale 1-1 in the Staffs Senior Cup.
Penalties followed and, stunningly, he saved all five Vale kicks as his side won the shoot out 1-0. I Can't find a record of anyone who has done similar.
Just one hat-trick this week. Jordan Darr hit his second of the season as Charnock Richard beat Litherland REMYCA 5-

Eight NWCFL sides are through to the Third Round, the previous two seasons saw just five teams go through and three seasons back just four teams – so a bumper season so far in the Vase.
