Buildbase FA Vase 5th Round

Longridge Town 0-1 Hebburn Town

Hebburn Town manager Kevin Bolam, "We created enough chances to win 3 games never mind 1 or 2!

"Full credit to Longridge, they defended very well and we came up against an inspired goalkeeper in Lee Dovey.

"We fully deserved our win and our place in the quarter-finals. We had 19 shots during the game but had to wait until the 117th minute to secure our place in the hat

"I would like to wish Longridge all the best for the remainder of the season, it's a lovely little club and Lee has them playing some real good stuff so to keep a side out with their ability going forward is a credit to our lads."

Abbey Hey 1-3 Wythenshawe Town

Wythenshawe Town manager James Kinsey, "We are confident at the minute and it showed today. We had several lads cup-tied and had several injured. But we went and was in total control.

"Abbey Hey are a good side and they're gonna be in the hunt for promotion. We have an unbelievable group here and there's a real unity about them now. Sandbach over two legs won't be easy but we have an opportunity being at home to go and take the lead in the tie and take a positive result back to their place.

"But we are only interested in Tuesday now. "

FC Oswestry Town 1-0 Emley AFC

FC Oswestry Town manager Nathan Leonard, "It was a great response after Tuesday's disappointing result. I don't think either team were at their best and it was a cagey game at times. We didn't look after the ball well enough at times but I thought overall we just about did enough for the win.

"The work rate of the lads was tremendous and we were disciplined out of possession which is something we know needed improving. Feels great to be in a semi-final and we look forward to two tough games against AFC Liverpool and the obvious aim this season is to now go and win some silverware and gain promotion.

A big couple of months ahead."

Wirral Senior Cup Semi-Finals

Cammell Laird 1907 1-0

Mersey Royal

Cammell Laird 1907 manager Phil Burton, "Very tough game against a team that wanted to get to the final. Both teams had great chances but thought we had a lot more clear chances. Need to be more clinical at times.

"Overall delighted to be going to the second final in two years and proud of my players and their professional approach to the game."
